A unique kitchen product hits the retail shelves.
Anova Culinary wants to bring sous vide—a cooking technique that uses a precise, temperature controlled water bath—to the masses. They came to Noise 13 needing retail packaging, since the product had only been available online. We felt that we needed to incorporate educational elements that succinctly explain what sous vide is and the benefits of cooking using this way.
One of my favorite early concepts featured a red stripe with subtle gray hash marks along the edge of the box to simulate the device getting to the perfect temperature.
