Anova Culinary wants to bring sous vide—a cooking technique that uses a precise, temperature controlled water bath—to the masses. They came to Noise 13 needing retail packaging, since the product had previously only been available online. The main challenge for the new box was incorporating educational elements that succinctly explain what sous vide is and the benefits of cooking using this method.
One of my favorite early concepts featured a red stripe with subtle gray has marks along the edge of the box to simulate the device getting to the perfect temperature.
