Week 01 — Simple doesn’t mean easy
Just because a design looks simple, it doesn’t mean it was easy to get there. One of the hardest skills to master is having a sense of what to add and what to take away. Being a great designer is being a great editor—the cutting room floor is a lot messier than what you see as the final output.
02 — Execution is just as important as strategy.
In tech, oftentimes execution is ghettoized and takes a back seat to strategy. In truth, both are equally important as having the best strategy in the world won’t matter if you don’t have a team to execute it well.
